We may be a Millennial, Baby Boomer, Latino, Asian, Transgender or a Veteran. Whatever words we choose to describe ourselves, one thing is certain: New England Baptist Hospital would not be the caring and compassionate health care institution we are today without our employees. Our employees are our greatest asset and they reflect the world. We come from distinct cultures, practice different religions, speak different languages and represent all genders and sexual identities. We share different thoughts and ideas. Our inclusive culture makes sure that all voices are heard, respected and have a chance to succeed. We are committed to an inclusive work environment that values all members of our staff, and we embrace the diversity that strengthens us all.
Over the past year, we have begun the exciting work to advance our multi-year Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategic plan. We are proud of the work that has been done so far and hope that you have had a chance to watch the D&I video that features our employees. We also have had a number of employees submit their story for the Heart of the Hill book that will be coming soon.
We want to ensure that every person at NEBH has the opportunity to deepen their learning around diversity and inclusion. We will continue to evaluate our programs and practices to find opportunities that create an environment in which our employees can thrive. We are committed to our Diversity and Inclusion multi-year strategy and its initiatives.
We will advance our careers, encourage the growth of young professionals, and support the Baptist Mission through networking, community service, and professional development.
All NEBH employees are welcome.
