NEBH has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement and for Advanced Disease Specific Care for Spine Surgery. The advanced certification is for Joint Commission-accredited hospitals seeking to elevate the quality, consistency, and safety of patient care.
NEBH underwent rigorous reviews to earn the advanced surgical certifications. Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with advanced disease-specific care standards, as well as total hip and total knee replacement requirements. These requirements include orthopedic consultation and pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-surgical orthopedic care. Joint Commission experts evaluated our Programs, which included a robust review of our structures and processes, delivery of care, care coordination, education for patients and staff and performance measurements.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have a five star rating tool that allows patients and their families to compare hospitals based on their overall rating. New England Baptist Hospital received the top score of five stars.
NEBH has been named a 2021 Pinnacle of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey. The Pinnacle of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations nationwide on the basis of extraordinary achievement and consistently high levels of excellence for at least three years in patient experience.
For fifteen years in a row, NEBH has been awarded the prestigious Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award. The Award recognizes top-performing hospitals that sustain the highest level of national performance, ranking in the 95th percentile or higher for patient satisfaction for at least three consecutive years.
