The hand and upper extremity experts at NEBH are board-certified orthopedic surgeons who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries, diseases and disorders that effect the bones and soft-tissue of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow.

The majority of upper extremity surgery at New England Baptist Hospital can be performed on an outpatient basis as day surgery.

Hand Therapy

The Hand Therapy Clinic at NEBH boasts quality care and individualized, one-on-one treatment.

At NEBH, we feel that it is important to spend sufficient time with our patients to answer all of their questions and ensure understanding of home exercise programs. Our Certified Hand Therapists are proficient in the fabrication of custom made splints, including static, dynamic, static progressive, and serial casting. We are flexible with patient scheduling, and are happy to see nonscheduled patients directly from the physician’s office. NEBH welcomes referrals, not only from orthopedic and plastic surgeons, but also from rheumatology and primary care physicians.
