BOSTON – Andrew Lederman, MD, has been appointed chief of the Division of Physiatry at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Lederman has been a physiatrist and interventional pain specialist at New England Baptist Hospital since 2021.
“It is my pleasure to announce Dr. Andrew Lederman as New England Baptist Hospital’s new chief of the Division of Physiatry,” said David Passafaro, president, NEBH. “Dr. Lederman is very talented in the rehabilitation of joint injuries and pain management and is caring, understanding, and committed to improving the quality of life for his patients. As a former college athlete and hockey coach, he understands the challenges his patients face in their journey to regain their mobility.”
Lederman is double board-certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation and pain medicine. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Spine Intervention Society. Lederman has been invited to teach and lecture both locally and nationally, and has published numerous articles contributing to the advancement of spine, pain, and rehabilitation medicine.

Lederman completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University. After completing medical school at St. George’s University, he completed his internship in general surgery, residency in physiatry and fellowship in pain medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
