The Massachusetts Health Policy Commission today issued its Cost Market Impact Review Final Report, clearing the path for New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) and its physician group to join the Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization (BIDCO), an Accountable Care Organization and physician and hospital network, as a member. NEBH will be the first specialty hospital in BIDCO.

Twenty-six New England Baptist Hospital physicians were recently named in the December 2015 Boston Magazine "Top Doctors" list. NEBH physicians were listed in 10 specialties, including the entire sports medicine category. Again this year, NEBH had more physicians listed in the orthopedic categories (orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and hand surgery) than any other hospital.
