For many of us, these are times unlike any we have ever experienced.
At NEBH, we want you to know that our hospital is playing an important role in the battle against COVID-19: in early March we postponed elective orthopedic procedures and began to admit patients from across the Beth Israel Lahey Health system. Today, our talented health care providers are treating patients with a range of conditions.
As the situation evolves in the coming days and weeks, we will continue to meet the needs of any patient who comes to NEBH. And when we have overcome this challenge, as soon as it is safe to do so, we will return to our mission of providing patients with outstanding orthopedic care.
NEBH is putting in tremendous work to respond to this crisis and keep our community safe. As you can imagine, the changes NEBH has had to make will tax our hospital in profound ways, and we are asking for your help and support.
Now, more than ever, the support of grateful patients and community members will provide flexible resources that the hospital can direct to its most urgent needs, making a real impact in our daily work. If you would like to help NEBH and our caregivers during this time, please consider making a gift today.
We are all in this together. We hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and well. Thank you for your support and for being part of the NEBH community.
