Danielle Lehman, a physician assistant at New England Baptist Hospital, is running the Boston Marathon for the first time. “Running has become my outlet since college athletics came to an end. I transitioned from being a collegiate athlete to a graduate student where running was my form of exercise and stress relief.” At the start of the pandemic, Danielle developed a foot injury which led her to become a patient at NEBH.
Thanks to Kurt Hofmann, MD, and NEBH’s outpatient surgery center, Danielle will be able to run her first ever marathon just 16 months post-op!
