The Woodard Health Sciences Library

The Woodard Health Sciences Library offers access to current & evidence-based medical literature & serves the educational and research needs of medical, nursing, administrative and allied health staffs of NEBH.

Resources and Services Provided:

  • Eight computer workstations which have Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Anatomical models of the joints and full size skeleton
  • Access to online medical books, journals and databases
  • Hands-on computer and Web training and Powerpoint Presentation support
  • Guidance in navigating medical, nursing and patient databases
  • Customized library orientations and instruction and outreach

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The Library is responsible for the NEBH physician Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program:

    • Plans approximately 100 lectures annually
    • Collaborates in organizing NEBH-sponsored CME Conferences
    • Maintains CME resources including online links to blogs, archived programs, videotaped conferences, physician licensure requirements and CME program calendar

Interlibrary Loan & Document Deliveries

Books & journal articles can be requested. The library provides electronic delivery of resources through email. For an interlibrary loan, please provide the following details:
