Dr. Tal Rencus is a neuroradiologist at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH), who specializes in spine image interpretation and image guided procedures of the spine. In addition to his work at NEBH, Dr. Rencus holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine, and is active in teaching residents and fellows from Tufts and NEBH programs. He is a member of a number of professional societies, including the New England Roentgen Ray Society, and was selected as a Top Doctor by the International Association of Radiologists in 2015-2016. He was selected as a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly.

Before joining NEBH in 2006, Dr. Rencus completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Tufts-New England Medical Center followed by a Neuroradiology fellowship at the Tufts-NEMC/Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital joint program. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Dr. Rencus performs lumbar and cervical facet blocks, nerve root bocks, myelography and lumbar discography.
