Nicolas Marcotte, MD FRCSC FACS is a Canadian Board Certified Neurosurgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) in Boston. Dr. Marcotte received his medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine and completed his post-doctoral training in Neurosurgery at Enfant-Jesus Hospital, Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. Dr. Marcotte received his fellowship training in Spinal Neurosurgery from New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. In addition, he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology and Clinical Research.
Dr. Marcotte is an active member of several medical societies, including Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), and North American Spine Society (NASS)
Dr. Marcotte has a special interest in surgery of the spine, including the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He specializes in spine problems including disc herniation, stenosis, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, and deformity of the spine. He also has interest in spinal tumor. He currently serves as assistant director of research at New England Baptist Hospital, and he is actively involved in spine surgery research.
Dr. Marcotte has contributed to multiple chapter publications, scientific articles.
