Brian Kwon, MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) and holds a teaching appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kwon is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. In addition, he completed his fellowship in Spine Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Kwon is an active member of several medical societies, including the North American Spine Society (NASS), American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS). Because of his extensive background in scientific research, he serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Spinal Disorders & Techniques. In addition, Dr. Kwon is a frequently requested speaker and often presents his research to national and international audiences.
Dr. Kwon specializes in the surgical management of adult spine disorders with a focus on minimally invasive surgery.
