Dr. Agam A. Shah is an Orthopedic Surgeon at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH). In addition to his work at NEBH, Dr. Shah holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts Medical Center, Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitative Medicine.
Dr. Shah has been recognized and awarded with a number of honors, including the Vitals.com Patients’ Choice Award (2011 – 2012) and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011). He is a member of a number of professional societies including the Arthroscopy Association of North America, Massachusetts Orthopaedic Association, New England Shoulder & Elbow Society and serves as Diplomate to the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Shah is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. After completing a surgical internship from Tufts Medical Center, Dr. Shah completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery from the same institution. From there, he underwent a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Shah is affiliated with a number of teams including Holliston High School and Millis High School. When not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and playing tennis.
