Patient Family Advisory Council
Patient and family centered care is a central focus for New England Baptist Hospital. One of the ways we meet this priority is by engaging our patients and their family members in their care and through our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Our PFAC provides a forum for patients and family members to share feedback, input and advice on the care and service we provide to our patients.
The goal of the NEBH PFAC is to integrate the perspective of our patients and their families with the hospital’s goals. This insight continues to improve the quality, safety and experience of care. Our accomplishments include the creation and review of patient educational materials including the Your Stay Patient Guide; preadmission and discharge information. PFAC members represent the patient on various hospital committees including the Patient Experience Committee, Patient Education Committee and the Quality and Patient Safety Committee.
The Council meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 12:00 to 1:30pm. Meetings are not held during August and December.
