On February 5, 2014, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a highly regarded academic medical center in the NorthEast, entered in to a partnership with New England Baptist Hospital to create one of the nation’s top destinations for orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. This strategic partnership capitalizes on the complementary strengths of the two institutions and their respective medical staffs.  The patients we look to serve will all benefit tremendously from this partnership, which will combine NEBH’s specialization in orthopedics with BIDMC’s depth and breadth of clinical services, broad geographic network and outstanding research.

New England Baptist Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess will build a new, leading system of care and will combine their extraordinary orthopedic staffs  to deliver that expert care to patients.  That system includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal care, clinical and basic science research and education residents, fellows and newly practicing physicians in the fields of orthopedics, rheumatology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Together, the hospitals can improve access and quality while reaching new levels of exceptional patient care by bringing the outstanding Baptist brand to more patients in locations that are convenient for them.
