General Electric

General Electric (GE), one of the nation’s largest employers, has selected New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) as their only Center of Excellence for total hip and knee replacement in New England. GE employees throughout the country can now choose to travel to Boston to undergo their surgery at NEBH, receiving added benefits for travel and waived copays and deductibles.

A health care provider can be designated a Center of Excellence (COE) if they specialize in the diagnosis and/or treatment of a particular disease or condition with the goal of achieving above average outcomes. As one of the top hospitals in the country for orthopedics, NEBH is well positioned to provide the employees of GE and other self-insured organizations with high quality, cost effective orthopedic care.
