Founded in 1955, the New England Baptist Hospital League is a volunteer group of women who offer their time to increase understanding of and interest in the services rendered by the New England Baptist Hospital.
The impact of the League's support can be seen throughout New England Baptist Hospital - from financial contributions, to staffing the Gift Shop, and participating as a Diplomat in the main lobby where they greet patients and families and provide a warm welcome to NEBH. A major focus of their financial support has been in the area of nursing. They have provided support for nursing education and scholarships in order to ensure that the Baptist tradition of exceptional care may flourish. The League has also hosted a lecture series on a variety of topics ranging from plastic surgery to a volunteer program in Nepal where two of our physicians offer their time and expertise. For more information about joining the League, or to arrange a tour of the Hospital, feel free to contact Lynn Stewart, Volunteers and Amenities Coordinator at 617-754-5173.
