Two distinct centers will bring patient safety to a new level and lead to a thoughtful redesign of care
New England Baptist Hospital has a track record of developing innovative approaches to patient care. Innovation is a constant at the Baptist, which is why funding is essential to establish the Center for Patient Safety and Center for Patient Care Redesign, two new centers that will test new health care concepts to continue to refine safe and effective patient care.
Center for Patient Safety
This center has been challenged to define a new model of care where surgery patients are managed by a small team which is ideal to coordinate care to produce the best possible outcome. As the length of hospital stays becomes shorter and emphasis is placed on the transition to rehabilitation facilities or homecare, care coordination is more important than ever. This defined team will undertake new safety initiatives to maximize good outcomes. Learn more.
Center for Patient Care Redesign
At the Baptist, the thoughtful redesign of patient care is an enterprise that involves physicians, nurses, administrators, rehabilitation staff and many others. The following three areas represent the current focus of patient care redesign at New England Baptist Hospital. Learn more.
