You've earned your Physical or Occupational Therapy degree. And now your ready to put all you've learned into action. At New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH), our New Grad PT or OT program provides you with all the resources you'll need to build the bridge between school and your first job as a Physical or Occupational Therapist. NEBH provides a unique opportunity to start your career at a small, supportive hospital that enjoys a national reputation for patient satisfaction and clinical excellence. Offering an intensive and thorough orientation program with your own preceptor, we provide our full support as you progress through your Physical or Occupational Therapy career.
To encourage you to begin your career with us, we offer incentives like a generous benefits package, continuous professional development opportunities, and participation in community outreach activities, research, and clinical teaching to support your education dreams for the future.
The transition from school to career can sometimes be a challenging one. We will work with you and support you during the entire process. You will begin work on the units with the assistance of your own preceptor. You will work with your preceptor very closely. You will start by shadowing your preceptor, then gradually working together to see patients, taking the patients on your own with the supervisor of your preceptor, and then eventually taking your own caseload. The Clinical Supervisor and Director of Rehab Services will also support you. We will also introduce you to the support services and staff in other disciplines as you coordinate your patients' care.
NEBH provides an atmosphere that inspires innovative care, critical thinking and a spirit of inquiry, and teamwork. We value clinical excellence as much as personal growth. At New England Baptist Hospital, you can spread your wings and expand your knowledge.
