Rehabilitation Services

The goals of therapy are to maximize a patient's ability to function independently and to help patients adapt to limitations that have resulted from surgery, injury or disease.

New England Baptist Hospital's Rehabilitation Services Department has a long and rich history. We have over 100 Physical and Occupational Therapists with a broad range of experience and specialties.

The NEBH Rehabilitation Services Department provides a complete range of physical, occupational and hand therapies designed to return patients to their maximal level of function. Our therapists are part of a world-class interdisciplinary team who work with patients with a variety of diagnoses with a particular focus on orthopedic conditions. Through careful evaluation and assessment, our therapists consult and collaborate with the patient and their family, physicians, and other health care providers to develop a unique treatment plan to help each patient reach their rehabilitation goals and return to a healthy and active lifestyle.

The Hospital has state-of-the-art facilities including the Yawkey Gym, installed in 2008, which includes a practice kitchen, full bathroom, stairs and a car simulator to help patients prepare for their return home.
