NEBH Hernia Center

If you have a hernia, it's time to do something about it.

While hernias are common, if untreated they can develop into serious and dangerous complications. Untreated hernias do not get smaller and they will not go away by themselves. They will increase in size and generally become more painful. The larger the hernia, the more difficult it is to repair.

The good news is that hernia surgery has evolved significantly in the last few years. In most cases, the repair can be done quickly, you won't need to stay in the hospital overnight, and recovery is rapid. Many of our patients have their repairs done with minimally invasive/laparoscopic techniques. This allows them to return to normal activity sooner, sometimes within just a few days.

The NEBH Hernia Center can help. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of groin and abdominal wall hernias.

For more information or to make an appointment with one of our experts, please call the NEBH Hernia Center directly at (617) 754-5636 or e-mail us at NEBH Hernia Center.
