The primary care physicians at New England Baptist Hospital offer a breadth of internal medicine expertise in a personalized, caring environment. The Baptist is an intimate, private practice hospital, which means primary care physicians have the opportunity to communicate directly with patients, listening to their concerns and developing a trusting and understanding relationship. This dedication to supportive, one-on-one care is why the Baptist remains one of the nation's top hospitals for patient satisfaction.
The intimate setting of New England Baptist Hospital allows our primary care physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care without delay. Unlike larger academic medical centers, our system allows our primary care physicians to schedule patients quickly and easily for diagnostic, medical, or surgical services. This unique level of coordinated care is a benefit of the close-knit environment of the Baptist.
At New England Baptist Hospital, primary care physicians also provide care in the Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU), the Baptist's on-site urgent care center. In the ACU, primary care physicians treat and admit patients when appropriate, and provide immediate access to specialists for advanced medical, surgical, or diagnostic care.
