Christopher Mosher, JD, was named Vice President for Philanthropy in May 2012. Chris serves as the chief philanthropy officer for the hospital, responsible and accountable for leading a comprehensive system-wide fundraising program. Philanthropic support, essential to propel the hospital's strategic plan to advance the hospital's mission and vision for the future, includes short- and long-term funding for research initiatives, facility development, and clinical programs through proactive fundraising in annual giving, major and principle gifts, planned giving, special events and capital campaigns.

An accomplished institutional advancement professional and attorney with more than 25 years' experience, Chris came to the Baptist from Suffolk University where he was Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Previously he has held executive leadership positions at various higher education and healthcare institutions including Brigham and Women's Hospital, Quincy Medical Center, Northeastern University and Embry-Riddle University.

Chris is a member or various professional organizations including the New England Association of Healthcare Professionals (NEAHP), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE) and The Friday Forum, an association of senior-level fundraising professionals, where he is a member of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the AFP Massachusetts Chapter.

Chris is a graduate of Northeastern University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English - Journalism and Suffolk University Law School where he received his Juris Doctor degree.
